Broadcaster for Hire

There is so much going on in my life right now that I just haven’t had time to take a breath. I’ll try to summarize it in this first paragraph, then I’ll move on to the subject matter of this post. If you want to hear more about this stuff, please tune in to my podcast for much more. Where to start? I just finished my first season broadcasting hockey for UMass Lowell (and my 20th in Hockey East). A very fun filled and satisfying year for me. Trips to Palm Springs , CA and Lake Placid, N.Y. (on my 60th birthday). And most importantly, being given the opportunity to travel again. I feel complete again as a broadcaster. Our season ended up in Maine last weekend, but I’m proud of our guys. Also, my new book is out- Living On Air, Life Lessons from 60 Years of Living and 30 Years in the Broadcast Booth. It’s available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble online. Lots of podcast and music activity too.

On to the subject matter. Recent developments and broadcast experiences with my Internet radio station have given me the confidence that I can now broadcast any event, in any location, regardless of whether there is power or Internet or not. I have invested countless hours of time, money, and energy to make this dream a reality. I’ve done remote broadcasts at bookstores, parks, and high school arenas. With my equipment and technology, I can now broadcast anything at any time. My Jackery portable power generator ensures that I have the electric power I need even in an area with no outlets. With my phone’s Hotspot I can do a broadcast with no Internet on location. (Hence the concert at the park I did last summer).

The point of all this is I can be hired out to broadcast anything live on the Internet. I’ll do a lot of stuff on my own, and it will be good. But I can cover your event too. Sports games, talk shows, anything. Live on the Internet.

Contact me through my website at johnrleahy.com and we can talk more.
